Job summary

Novogradac is seeking a LIHTC Development Consultant to guide affordable housing projects from feasibility to closing. You’ll advise on 9% and 4% LIHTC transactions, structure capital stacks, and lead application strategies while managing client relationships and mentoring staff.

The role requires strong modeling, regulatory familiarity, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly. We offer a flexible, inclusive, growth-focused environment with remote and hybrid options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and LIHTC development or consulting experience.
• Multi-state LIHTC experience with 9% and 4% transactions.
• Ability to analyze risks, provide strategic recommendations, and communicate complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead LIHTC development strategy, feasibility analysis, and capital stack structuring.
• Direct preparation and review of LIHTC applications and scoring strategies.
• Review sources and uses, credit calculations, and operating pro formas.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate with developers, lenders, and agencies.
• Mentor staff and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
