Job summary
Novogradac Consulting LLP seeks a LIHTC Development Consultant to guide affordable housing projects from feasibility through closing, using expertise in 9% and 4% LIHTC transactions. You will manage client relationships, mentor staff, and advise on capital stack structuring and risk analysis.
You will lead LIHTC applications under QAPs, coordinate with developers, lenders, investors, attorneys and agencies, and explain complex financial concepts to varied stakeholders while ensuring successful
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- Minimum five years of LIHTC development or consulting experience.
- Multi-state 9% and 4% LIHTC experience preferred.
- Knowledge of QAPs and state housing agency processes.
- Ability to analyze risks and provide strategic recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Lead LIHTC development strategy, feasibility analysis, and capital stack structuring.
- Advise on 9% and 4% LIHTC transactions and underwriting assumptions.
- Direct preparation and review of LIHTC applications under QAPs.
- Review sources and uses, credit calculations, and operating pro formas.
- Manage client relationships and coordinate with developers, lenders, and agencies.
- Provide training and mentorship to staff and contribute to knowledge sharing.
