Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP in Andover, MA is seeking a seasoned LIHTC Development Consultant to lead advisory on affordable housing transactions from feasibility through closing. You will guide 9% and 4% LIHTC deals, manage client relationships, and mentor staff while ensuring technical accuracy and strategic impact.

You will evaluate underwriting assumptions, assist with pipeline planning, and support closing activities including 8609 issuance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with LIHTC experience.
• Experience with 9% and 4% LIHTC transactions and QAPs.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to communicate complex LIHTC concepts clearly to clients and internal teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead LIHTC development strategy, feasibility analysis, and capital stack structuring.
• Advise on 9% and 4% LIHTC transactions and underwriting assumptions.
• Direct preparation/review of LIHTC applications under QAPs and positioning strategies.
• Review sources/uses, credit calculations, and operating pro formas; advise on equity pricing.
• Coordinate with developers, lenders, investors, attorneys, and agencies; mentor staff.
