Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Compliance Specialist to oversee LIHTC and HUD compliance across properties. You will collaborate with onsite and corporate teams to ensure programs meet regulatory requirements and drive accurate reporting.

Role requires travel, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting mass recertifications, lease-ups, and annual audits.

Qualifications

• Experience processing LIHTC (Section 42) documentation.
• Knowledge of HUD/Section 8, 202, and 811 programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance with housing programs with staff.
• Travel as needed for business.
• Conduct audits and implement solutions.
• Data entry into compliance reporting systems and file maintenance.
• Process commissions for move-ins and recertifications.
• Liaise with Local Housing Authority and State agencies.
• Assist with Mass Recertifications, re-syndication, lease-ups, and acquisitions.
• Verify property data in management software.
• Ensure proper mix of Tax Credit, Bond, and RDA units.
• Follow up on Utility Allowances and income/rent limits.
