Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Compliance Specialist to ensure LIHTC and related housing program compliance. You will work with on-site and corporate teams, perform audits, and maintain accurate compliance data and reporting.

The role requires travel, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to coordinate with local authorities to facilitate successful annual audits and recertifications. AMC offers competitive benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• LIHTC certification paperwork experience.
• Knowledge of HUD, Section 8, 202 and/or 811 programs.
• High attention to detail and accuracy; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance with housing programs across sites.
• Travel as required by business needs.
• Perform audits and implement compliant solutions.
• Handle compliance reporting data entry, filing and file maintenance.
• Process commissions for move-ins and recertifications.
• Coordinate with Local Housing Authority and State agencies on compliance and audits.
• Support Mass Recertifications, Re-syndication, Lease-ups and acquisitions.
• Verify property mgmt software data integrity.
• Ensure appropriate mix of Tax Credit, Bond and RDA units per property.
• Obtain utility allowances and income/rent limits from authorities.
