Job summary

Guardian Real Estate Services LLC in Portland, OR is seeking a dynamic Community Manager for Wy’East Plaza. This full-time role oversees property operations, staff, and vendor relations, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and regulatory requirements while delivering outstanding resident service.

You will manage budgets, leasing, and reporting, while maintaining curb appeal and financial health of the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years managing a multi-family community.
• 1+ year in affordable housing or relevant industry.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Laws in Oregon.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to learn new programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Represent Guardian professionally at all times.
• Coordinate operations to meet property management obligations.
• Manage operations in compliance with laws (Fair Housing, Landlord Tenant Laws, OSHA, etc.).
• Assist in developing operating income/expense budgets and leasing strategy.
• Analyze monthly financial statements and cash flow.
• Oversee staff and vendor performance to ensure quality service.
• Prepare and lead site staff meetings and document minutes.
• Maintain accurate time records and leasing activities.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and coordinate with accounting.
