Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: 0–2 years in electrical distribution preferred.
• Lighting design or controls experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, time management and communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection and orders.
• Handle inbound calls and assist with counter sales as needed.
• Expedite orders and gather literature or information.
• Complete lighting audits for end users.
• Manage orders, pricing, availability, and delivery dates.
• Describe products and assist customers in selecting best options.
• Quote prices, terms, availability, and process orders.
• Maintain records for accounts with attention to detail.
• Coordinate with internal departments, vendors and carriers.
• Provide technical and product assistance to generate new and repeat sales.
• Place purchase orders with suppliers within guidelines.
• Analyze customer needs and take appropriate action.
• Attend product training sessions.
• Develop product knowledge and assist with applications.
• Other duties as assigned.
