Job summary

Okemo Mountain Resort is seeking an Assistant Manager of Lift Experience for the Winter Seasonal 2026/2027. You will lead the Lift Experience team, ensuring a safe, smooth operation and an exceptional guest experience on the mountain.

You will coach staff, stay current with industry trends, and collaborate with Mountain Operations leadership to drive safety culture and guest satisfaction. Competitive pay and seasonal benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong management, leadership and team-building capabilities.
• Outstanding guest service focus and communication skills.
• Proven supervisory or managerial experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays; comfortable in extreme weather conditions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Workday/Guest Connect.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Lift Experience team and deliver exceptional guest and employee experiences.
• Coach and motivate staff to align with Vail Resorts goals and values.
• Maintain expert knowledge of lift operations and industry trends.
• Lead safety initiatives in mountain operations to reduce injuries.
• Coordinate training, inventory, and interdepartmental communication.
• Hire, train, and develop Lift Experience personnel and maintain records.
