Job summary

Okemo Mountain Resort is hiring a Lift Operator for the Lift Experience team. You will be responsible for the safe operation of a multi-million-dollar lift and for guiding guests as they board and ride the lift.

The role requires a willingness to work outdoors in all weather, stand for long periods, and provide excellent customer service to guests and teammates. No prior lift experience is necessary as training is provided; the position offers full-time and part-time shifts during the winter

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor passenger safety while assisting with safe loading/unloading of lifts.
• Operate lift to maximize chair capacity per guidelines and performance reports.
• Notify maintenance/dispatch of needed repairs.
• Collaborate with Lift Maintenance to learn equipment operation.
• Implement emergency procedures as required; contact Patrol.
• Set up/disassemble the lift maze daily; maintain safety standards.
• Follow all company policies and keep work areas clean.
• Support ticket scanning as a flexible Lift Experience team member.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
