Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a Part-Time LifeWise Teacher to share the gospel in public school settings while delivering LifeWise curriculum. The ideal candidate participates in a local church and demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage both churched and unchurched students.

You will complete required training, teach with faith-based materials, and maintain accurate class records.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days of start date.
• Participate in LifeWise Summit each year and attend at least one Teachers' Lounge or Meet-Up annually.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and build relationships with students.
• Maintain attendance records, class rosters and parent permissions as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and know emergency procedures.
• Act as LifeWise ambassador in the community and communicate LifeWise's mission.
