Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to share the gospel in public school settings by delivering LifeWise curricula to both churched and unchurched students. The role requires active church participation, strong communication, and the ability to build relationships with students.

The position emphasizes training, attendance tracking, and maintaining an engaging and orderly classroom environment in alignment with the LifeWise mission.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in either a school or church setting.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Take attendance and maintain accurate class rosters; provide records to program director or school officials as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-ordered classroom; manage safety and emergency procedures.
• Communicate with school personnel and volunteers; attend open houses and outreach events; share LifeWise's mission.
