Job summary

SafeSplashSwimLabs in Newington, CT is seeking a Lifeguard to provide vigilant supervision of the pool area and respond quickly to emergencies, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our guests.

You will maintain current Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR/AED certifications, have prior swim instruction experience, and complete all lifeguarding prerequisites to American Red Cross standards; we offer flexible scheduling and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification and CPR/AED certification for adult, infant and swimmer.
• Previous swim instruction experience is required.
• Must be able to successfully complete lifeguarding prerequisites to American Red Cross standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the pool area; act immediately and appropriately to secure safety in an emergency.
• Provide emergency care and treatment until EMS arrival.
• Perform duties to maintain a clean and safe facility.
• Ensure pool area is supervised and attended per American Red Cross standards.
