Job summary

SafeSplash is seeking a dedicated Swim Instructor to teach swimming skills to students using our curriculum in a positive, engaging environment.

You will provide ongoing feedback, structure class time for skill repetition, and ensure swimmer safety while maintaining a fun, educational experience for all ages.

Qualifications

• Previous swim instruction is preferred, but we are happy to train you!
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer, and infant preferred, but we will help you get certified within 60 days of hire
• Strong swimming experience is preferred (basic knowledge of the 4 strokes is needed)

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills according to SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Ensure swimmer safety
