Job summary

SafeSplash Lancaster, PA is looking for a dedicated Lifeguard to supervise the pool area, respond quickly to emergencies, and maintain a clean, safe facility. The role requires keeping constant watch over swimmers and providing immediate care until EMS arrives.

Qualifications include Red Cross Lifeguard certification, CPR/AED certification, and the ability to meet ARC prerequisites. The job entails standing for long periods and the physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds when needed.

Qualifications

• Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification and CPR/AED certification.
• Must pass lifeguarding prerequisites to American Red Cross standards.
• Must be able to perform the physical demands of lifeguarding (standing for extended periods; lift up to 75 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the pool area; act immediately and appropriately to secure safety in emergencies.
• Provide emergency care and treatment until EMS arrival.
• Perform duties to maintain a clean and safe facility.
• Ensure the pool area is supervised in accordance with American Red Cross standards.

What will you do as a Lifeguard?

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the pool area; act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of customers in the event of an emergency
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of EMS
• Perform various duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility
• Make sure the pool area is always properly supervised and attended in accordance to American Red Cross standards

What are we looking for in a Lifeguard?

• Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification, Red Cross CPR/AED certification
• Must be able to successfully complete all lifeguarding prerequisites to American Red Cross standards
• Must be able to perform the physical demands of lifeguarding, including standing or remaining alert on your feet for extended periods and lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 75 pounds as needed in emergency situations.
