Job summary

SafeSplash Brands, LLC is seeking a Swim Instructor to teach swimming skills using our curriculum in a fun, positive environment. You will provide ongoing feedback and structure classes to reinforce technique.

The role emphasizes swimmer safety and clear instruction, with the possibility of training to meet certification requirements within 60 days of hire. Previous instruction is preferred; passion for kids and swimming helps.

Qualifications

• Prior swim instruction is preferred, but we are happy to train you.
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer, and infant preferred, but we will help you get certified within 60 days of hire.
• Strong swimming experience is preferred (basic knowledge of the 4 strokes is needed).

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills following SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, positive manner.
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students.
• Structure class time to include repetition, reinforcement, and skill introduction.
• Ensure swimmer safety during all activities.

What will you do as a Swim Instructor?

• The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Ensure swimmer safety

What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?

• Previous swim instruction is preferred, but we are happy to train you!
