Job summary

SafeSplash+SwimLabs Newington is seeking a Swim Instructor who is passionate about helping kids learn to swim using our positive, structured curriculum. You will teach swimming skills in a fun environment and provide constructive feedback to students.

We offer flexible scheduling, training opportunities, and access to top swim technology. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or will be supported within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Previous swim instruction is preferred, but we are happy to train you!
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer, and infant preferred, but we will help you get certified within 60 days of hire
• Strong Swimming experience is preferred (Basic Knowledge of the 4 strokes is needed)

Responsibilities

• The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Ensure swimmer safety
