Job summary

Life Time is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to uphold safety and deliver excellent guest service at our indoor and outdoor pools. You will monitor the deck, respond to emergencies, and assist with events like Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza.

Qualified candidates are prepared to demonstrate water rescue skills, CPR/First Aid, and StarGuard Elite certification, with a high school diploma in progress and a commitment to guest safety.

Qualifications

• Must be working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping.
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with Members.
• Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid.
• Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities.
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of the Members.
