Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to ensure guest safety and provide exceptional service across indoor and outdoor pools. You will monitor deck safety, assist with water slides, and help run aquatics events like Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza.

You must be able to swim 300 yards, tread water for a minute, and retrieve diving bricks. Certification in StarGuard Elite Lifeguard with CPR/First Aid is required, with a bridge option when certification expires.

Qualifications

• Must hold a High School Diploma or GED in progress.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid certifications required (or bridge to StarGuard when current certs expire).
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping and tread water for 1 minute.
• Must be able to retrieve a 10 lb diving brick and swim to the top without stopping.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with Members.
• Rescues swimmers in danger and administers first aid.
• Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous areas and activities.
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly for safety.
