Job summary

Life Time is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to ensure pool safety and deliver guest service across indoor and outdoor facilities. You will monitor the deck, oversee slides, and assist with aquatics events like Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza.

Ideal candidates are safety-minded with current StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification (or bridge to StarGuard within 1 year) and the ability to swim 300 yards with treading for 1 minute. Teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certification (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year).
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services.
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping.
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with Members
• Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid
• Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of the Members
