Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to help oversee indoor and outdoor pools, monitor deck, and assist with water slides and aquatics events.

You will greet members, perform rescues, administer first aid, enforce safety rules, and maintain a clean pool area. The role requires HS diploma or GED, StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, First Aid, ability to swim 300 yards, tread water, lift 20 lbs.

Qualifications

• Certificate: StarGuard Elite Lifeguard with BLS CPR and First Aid.
• High School Diploma or GED in progress or achieved.
• Able to swim 300 yards without stopping.
• Able to tread water for 1 minute at minimum.
• Able to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from pool bottom and return to surface.
• Capable of bending to lift over 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with Members.
• Rescues swimmers in danger and administers first aid.
• Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities.
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure safety.
