Job summary

Life Time Inc. seeks an Aquatics Lifeguard to promote safety and deliver excellent Member service. You will monitor indoor and outdoor pools, oversee water slides, and assist with aquatics events like Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza.

You will greet members, perform rescues and first aid as needed, enforce safety rules, and keep the pool area clean and orderly to ensure a safe environment for all guests. Requirements include progress toward a HS diploma, StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification

Qualifications

• Working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certification.
• Ability to swim 300 yards without stopping.
• Tread water for 1 minute.
• Able to retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with Members
• Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid
• Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of the Members
