Job summary

Life Time is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to help oversee indoor and outdoor pools, monitor the pool deck, and support water slides while maintaining safety and delivering friendly service to Members.

Responsibilities include greeting members, rescuing swimmers in distress, enforcing safety zones, keeping the pool area clean, and assisting with events such as Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza.

Qualifications

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR and First Aid Certified (or bridging to StarGuard when current certification expires).
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods.
• Ability to communicate with guests about Life Time products and services.
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick and bring it to the top.
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with Members.
• Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid.
• Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities.
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure safety.
