Life Time is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to maintain safety around indoor and outdoor pools, monitors deck activity, and assists with events like Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza. The role emphasizes customer service and vigilant safety practices.

Qualified candidates will hold StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification, BLS CPR, and First Aid, and be able to swim 300 yards; HS diploma or GED is preferred. This hourly position offers benefits for full-time team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid certification (or bridge to StarGuard within 1 year) is preferred.
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute and lift 20+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with Members.
• Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid.
• Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous areas and activities.
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure safety of Members.
