Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Installation Manager to lead installation activities for Lifecycle Solutions and Services modernization projects in Grand Rapids, MI. You will manage field teams, subcontractors, and installation resources while coordinating with project management, engineering and procurement to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires travel up to 25%, on-call, and potential off-shift work. Strong safety, quality, and installation standards adherence is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience with material handling systems preferred.
• Experience with AGVs, AS/RS, and conveyors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead field resources, subcontractors, and installation teams.
• Plan and manage installation activities to meet milestones and budgets.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, and customers.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are followed.
