Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Installation Leader to oversee a team of 1-3 mechanical installers on-site. You will guide operations on alternate shifts when needed, train staff, and run daily stand-up meetings to keep projects on track.

You will read engineered drawings, perform quality audits, ensure safety, and maintain thorough job documentation. Expect travel within the continental U.S. and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical installation including conveyors, structural steel, and equipment installation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide daily direction to a team of 1-3 mechanical installers.
• Lead operations on alternate shifts when the primary supervisor is off-site.
• Provide training, coaching, and support to less experienced personnel.
• Participate in and lead daily stand-up meetings as required.
• Read, interpret, and execute work from engineered drawings and layouts.
• Perform audits to ensure installation quality and adherence to standards.
