Job summary

Dematic is seeking a field installation lead to oversee a small team of 1-3 mechanical installers and to guide operations on alternate shifts. You will install conveyor systems, structural steel, platforms, rack systems, and air piping, while promoting a strong safety culture and timely deliveries.

Required: high school diploma, 2-5 years in mechanical installation, ability to read engineered drawings, and willingness to travel 100% across the continental US with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical installation.
• Experience with conveyor systems and structural steel erection.
• Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of 1-3 mechanical installers and lead on alternate shifts.
• Train, coach, and support less experienced personnel.
• Install conveyor systems, structural steel, platforms, rack systems, and piping.
• Provide regular site updates and ensure safety compliance.
