Job summary

Dematic is seeking a field-based supervisor for mechanical installation teams. You will oversee 1-3 installers, provide training, and occasionally lead operations on alternate shifts.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and coordinating with project managers. You will travel up to 100% within the continental U.S., read engineered drawings, and supervise installation of conveyors, structural steel, platforms, and racks.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret technical drawings and layouts.
• Strong safety awareness and leadership mindset.
• Effective communication and basic supervisory skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, reporting tools).

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of 1-3 mechanical installers and provide daily direction.
• Lead operations on alternate shifts when the primary supervisor is off-site.
• Provide training, coaching and support to less experienced personnel.
• Lead daily stand-up meetings and report site status to managers.
• Install conveyor systems, structural steel, platforms, rails and racks.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain site housekeeping.
