Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Director, Installation within Lifecycle Solutions & Services to lead a wide portfolio of warehouse automation projects across North America. You will oversee Installation Managers, Site Managers and field professionals delivering upgrades, retrofits, and system replacements, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, budget adherence and customer satisfaction.

You will partner with PM, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing and Customer Service, report to VP Mods & Upgrades, and

Qualifications

Experience executing complex automation, material handling, or industrial installation projects.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, controls, and installation practices.
Demonstrated success managing operational budgets and workforce planning.
Excellent communication, leadership, and customer relationship skills.
Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Installation Managers and field leaders.
Provide strategic oversight of installation activities across multiple concurrent projects.
Ensure installation work meets schedules, budget, safety, and quality standards.
Drive safety performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage installation labor budgets and project profitability.
Foster cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, PM, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Service.
Serve as executive escalation point for installation-related customer issues.
