Job summary

JOOLA, a leader in table tennis and pickleball gear, seeks an Email & SMS Marketing Manager who will own retention and lifecycle programs across the US and Canada. You will write copy, build flows, manage calendars, and drive revenue through high-ROI channels.

You will develop a long-term content strategy, optimize audience segmentation, and ensure fulfillment of global playbooks while collaborating with regional teams to localize programs and maintain compliance.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of email and SMS marketing experience at a consumer brand or DTC-focused organization.
• Proven copywriting ability across campaigns and automated flows.
• Expert-level Klaviyo or similar tool experience — flows, segmentation, deliverability, reporting.
• Proven track record of building, launching, and scaling lifecycle automations that drive revenue.
• Strong analytical skills with dashboards and action-oriented insights.
• Solid understanding of CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own the email marketing calendar aligned with product launches and seasonal moments.
• Write campaign and flow copy; collaborate with design for creatives and brand voice.
• Develop a year-round content strategy including editorial, educational, community content.
• Own the flow library; build and optimize lifecycle automations from welcome to post-purchase.
• Build audience segmentation based on purchase behavior, sport, geography, and engagement tier.
• Maintain platform health in Klaviyo including list hygiene and deliverability compliance.
• Own the US/Canada SMS program: strategy, content, enrollment, and opt-in/opt-out compliance.
• Translate data into optimization priorities and guide A/B testing roadmaps.
