Job summary

Stanley Martin Homes is seeking an Email Marketing Manager to lead our email lifecycle strategy from planning to execution, leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud to drive engagement and revenue. You will collaborate across marketing, analytics and sales to optimize journeys, deliverability and personalisation while ensuring compliant, data-driven campaigns.

You will manage multi-channel journeys, mentor a team, and continually improve performance through rigorous testing and attribution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications or a related field.
5-7+ years in email marketing, lifecycle marketing or marketing automation, with 3+ years hands-on in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Content Builder).
Working command of SQL and AMPscript for segmentation and personalization.
Proven skills in email deliverability, sender reputation and audience governance.

Responsibilities

Own the email and lifecycle strategy across divisions and metro markets - acquisition, nurture, re-engagement and post-inquiry follow-up.
Build and manage campaigns and automated journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Content Builder, Contact Builder).
Design journeys that move a lead from inquiry to qualified handoff, with clear entry, exit and handoff criteria.
Own segmentation and personalization through SQL, AMPscript and dynamic content, and keep audience data clean, compliant and current.
Ensure email deliverability, maintain sender reputation, manage authentication protocols, and uphold CAN-SPAM compliance across all email communications.
Measure email's contribution to lead quality, appointments and net contracts - not open rates in isolation - through GA4, Looker and Salesforce, and run a disciplined testing and optimization program.
