Job summary

Edelman Financial Engines, based in Boston, seeks a Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to advance our Wealth Planning marketing through scalable email and multi-channel experiences.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to build personalized campaigns, execute lifecycle journeys across email, SMS, and push channels, and continuously optimize program performance using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and AMPscript.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in customer marketing, lifecycle marketing, or marketing technology roles
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a comparable enterprise‑level marketing automation platform
• Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS with solid email best practices
• Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first email design
• Experience with data/segmentation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Data Cloud, Segment, Tealium) and marketing performance metrics
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining high quality and accuracy
• Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Passion for email development and lifecycle marketing, with focus on continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, ADA-compliant emails using HTML and CSS, with modular, scalable design
• Build personalization and dynamic content using AMPscript
• Test emails across devices and clients using Litmus or Email on Acid
• Configure and execute multi-touch lifecycle journeys across email, SMS, and push channels
• Conduct QA, stakeholder reviews, and approval workflows
• Identify testing opportunities and collaborate to support A/B and optimization testing
• Participate in peer code reviews to ensure quality and consistency
• Support documentation, versioning, and governance of templates and modules
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and performance across lifecycle programs
