Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with education transcripts or credits.
• One of: Associate degree / 72 quarter credits / 48 semester credits or ParaPro score 461+.
• Experience with children in educational settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities; confidentiality essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with implementing life skills curricula and activities.
• Support students with disabilities in daily classroom routines.
• Maintain data records and materials for lessons; help prepare materials.
• De-escalate behavioral crises and monitor student safety.
• Attend training and work collaboratively with staff.
