Job summary

Skyview High School in Vancouver, Washington is seeking a Special Program Paraeducator 1, Life Skills to support a student in a one-on-one setting. The position runs 6.5 hours per day, nine months per year, with immediate starting date.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, and either official transcripts showing an Associate's degree or 72 quarter credits/48 semester credits, or a passing ETS ParaPro assessment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; official transcripts to verify education when applicable.
• Associate's degree 90 quarter/60 semester credits OR 72 quarter credits/48 semester credits from accredited institution OR ParaPro assessment 461+.
• One year of related experience preferred; ability to work as part of an educational team.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one assistance to a student in life skills.
• Assist with implementing educational programs and goals per teacher instructions.
• Support behavior management plans and supervise student activities.
• Attend training and maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Assist with data entry, materials preparation, and classroom duties.
