Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO, a global leader in precision instruments, seeks a technical sales specialist for Rainin product lines. You will serve as the application expert, supporting growth and complex opportunities through consultative engagement, demonstrations, and training.

You will partner with Sales Managers and Reps to advance high-value deals, build relationships, and optimize customer outcomes. The role requires 4+ years in direct laboratory sales, strong communication, negotiation, and CRM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 4+ years in direct sales involving laboratory automation/instruments.
• Skilled negotiator.
• Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and professional demeanor.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking abilities.
• Proven ability to build long-term relationships and networks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical and application expert for assigned product lines to drive growth.
• Collaborate with sales managers and reps to advance complex opportunities from qualification through close.
• Build strategic customer relationships and engage target accounts.
• Conduct needs assessments, workflow analyses, and product demonstrations to deliver tailored technical solutions.
• Collaborate with sales teams to execute strategic initiatives and accelerate sales cycles.
• Deliver technical training and ongoing support to strengthen the sales organization.
• Contribute to commercial excellence through customer feedback and content development.
