Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Technical Applications Consultant to drive growth within Rainin product lines. You will serve as the technical expert, supporting Sales Managers and Representatives in complex, high-value opportunities and customer demonstrations.

The role requires biology background with lab automation experience, strong presentation skills, and the ability to analyze workflows and deliver tailored technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years direct sales experience involving laboratory automation and instruments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical and application expert for assigned product lines and support sales objectives.
• Partner with Sales to advance high-value opportunities from qualification through close.
• Build strategic customer relationships and engage target accounts with a consultative approach.
• Conduct needs assessments, workflow analyses, and product demonstrations to deliver tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with sales to accelerate cycles, improve win rates, and develop pipeline.
• Deliver technical training and ongoing support to strengthen sales effectiveness.
