Job summary

Clarivate Plc seeks a Business Development Associate to drive new business growth across our Life Sciences & Healthcare portfolio. You will identify, qualify, and advance opportunities by coordinating with senior sales leaders and stakeholders in a hybrid work setting.

You will generate demand, nurture relationships, and document progress in Salesforce while supporting end-to-end sales from prospecting to close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Salesforce (or similar tool) and MS Office Suite.
• Selling Software and Services into the Life Science and/or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Comfort engaging senior-level stakeholders via phone, email, and virtual meetings.

Responsibilities

• Generate new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and strategic follow-up on inbound leads.
• Engage senior decision-makers across life sciences and healthcare organizations to understand business challenges and priorities.
• Qualify prospects and collaborate with sales executives to advance opportunities toward close.
• Research target accounts, identify key stakeholders, and build informed outreach strategies.
• Maintain and expand a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities within your assigned territory.
• Support active deals by contributing insights, coordinating next steps, and helping drive momentum through the sales cycle.
• Accurately document activities, opportunities, and progress within Salesforce.
• Achieve activity, pipeline, and revenue-influencing targets aligned to quarterly goals.
