Job summary

Danaher Corporation’s Molecular Devices unit seeks a results-driven Key Account Manager to lead sales in the Los Angeles territory. You will cultivate relationships with scientists and decision makers, align solutions across instrumentation, software, and services, and drive revenue growth.

This role supports remote work from home with occasional travel, requires 5+ years of field sales in life sciences, and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher required.
• 5 plus years of field sales experience or selling into the life science or drug discovery industry is preferred.
• Experience in PowerPoint, Excel, Word & Salesforce.com CRM. Database is preferred, with demonstrated data analysis capability

Responsibilities

• Drive territory growth by developing and executing strategic account plans across multiple sectors.
• Build trusted relationships with scientists, lab leaders and key decision-makers to understand challenges and deliver solutions.
• Create and close new business opportunities through proactive customer engagement and consultative selling with distributors to achieve revenue goals.
• Connect customers with integrated solutions across plate reader portfolio (instrumentation, software, automation, services) for research and quality control workflows.
• Shape territory performance by managing funnel, forecasting accurately and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional customer experience.
