Job summary

Barrington James is seeking an experienced Business Development professional to drive revenue growth across biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. You will identify new business opportunities, build strategic relationships, and manage a robust pipeline while collaborating with internal teams to craft tailored client solutions.

The role requires a strong life sciences network, knowledge of drug development, and a track record in contract research or scientific services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Biology or related scientific discipline.
5+ years in business development, sales, or strategic account management in CRO/CDMO or life sciences services.
Experience supporting biologics, gene/cell therapies, or biomarker programs.
Proficient with CRM platforms and forecasting revenue.

Responsibilities

Identify, pursue and develop new client relationships across biotech and pharma.
Generate and advance new business opportunities across scientific services.
Develop and execute strategic BD plans aligned with growth objectives.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of clients and revenue opportunities.
Lead opportunities through the sales cycle from engagement to contracts.
Expand existing client relationships and strategic accounts.
Collaborate with internal teams to tailor client solutions and proposals.
