Job summary

JPMorganChase in Seattle seeks an experienced Relationship Executive for Life Sciences within Commercial Banking. You will grow and retain profitable relationships, lead cross-firm solutions, and champion innovation for customers in the life sciences ecosystem.

You will own client acquisition, manage strategic discussions on credit and payments, and partner with senior stakeholders to deliver the firm’s full capabilities to leading life sciences companies.

Qualifications

8+ years of related experience in banking and advisory roles.
Strong understanding of Commercial Banking products and services.
Excellent sales management and business development skills.
Proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships.
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with senior partners.
Self-directed, proactive, and creative; navigates ambiguity to get things done.
FINRA Series 79, 63 and SIE licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate the ability to build a brand within your market that represents Life Sciences as the leading Innovation Economy bank serving the best and most diverse clients.
Develop new business in your market by acquiring new relationships, deepening existing relationships by delivering the entire Firm, and leading internal strategic discussions across all our solutions including credit and payments.
Relentlessly focus on seeking out diverse founders powering innovation by leveraging a referral network built through business activities and relationship development.
Champion a culture of innovation and a customer-centric mindset balanced with the ability to manage risk (credit, operational, and reputational).
Be passionate about innovation, the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurship, staying up to date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships.
