Job summary

JPMorganChase in San Francisco seeks a Market Executive for the Life Sciences Banking team in the Innovation Economy group. You will lead the Life Sciences Banking team in Northern California, hire and guide staff, and manage a portfolio while growing profitable relationships with innovative Life Sciences companies.

You will leverage firm-wide solutions including credit and payments, develop new business, and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of account relationship management experience in commercial banking
• Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services with regional knowledge
• Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources
• Demonstrated history of meeting/exceeding sales goals
• Management experience leading a commercial lending sales team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• FINRA Series 79, 63, 24, and SIE licenses required or to be obtained within 180 days

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team across the NorCal region, set priorities and drive Life Sciences business growth
• Build a market brand for Life Sciences Banking as the leading Innovation Economy bank
• Develop new business by acquiring relationships and delivering the Firm's full capabilities
• Leverage a referral network to identify diverse founders powering innovation
• Balance culture of innovation with risk management across credit, operations, and reputation
• Stay current with industry trends to identify opportunities for partnerships
• Drive efficiency with existing tech infrastructure through automation and new technologies
• Participate in internal strategic discussions across all solutions including credit and payments
