Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Market Executive for the Life Sciences Banking team in Northern California. You will lead a high-performing team, grow relationships, and oversee a portfolio while driving cross-bank solutions across credit and payments.

You will recruit and direct team members, align strategic initiatives with firm-wide goals, and stay ahead of industry trends in the Life Sciences sector to identify opportunities for growth in the NorCal market.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in account relationship management focusing on business relationships.
• Understanding of Commercial Banking products and regional knowledge.
• Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Experience leading a commercial lending sales team with strong client relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Creative problem solving and strong business judgment.
• FINRA Series 79, 63, 24, and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team across NorCal, drive Life Sciences growth through strategic client coverage and disciplined pipeline execution.
• Build a brand in the market representing Life Sciences Banking as the leading innovation economy bank.
• Develop new business by acquiring relationships and deepening existing ones, collaborating across credit and payments solutions.
• Leverage a referral network to engage diverse founders powering innovation.
• Champion a culture of innovation with strong risk management (credit, operational, reputational).
• Stay current with industry trends to identify opportunities for partnerships and innovation.
• Drive efficiency with existing tech infrastructure while embracing new technologies.
