Job summary

SteelWave LLC is seeking a Property Administrator to support two Class A life science projects in Berkeley and Emeryville, plus a Retail project in South San Francisco. You will report to the Senior Property Manager and focus on tenant relations, maintenance coordination and maintaining high occupancy through superior service.

The role requires 1–2+ years in commercial real estate, strong Word and Excel skills, and familiarity with Yardi or similar accounting software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred, and 1–2+ years of relevant work experience in commercial real estate; although not required.
• Must be fluent in Word and Excel.
• Real Estate license a plus; excellent oral and written communication skills; superior tenant relations & customer service.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility for all tenant relations and customer service, including first point of contact for tenant requests and coordinating service calls.
• Administrative oversight: phones, office services and visitors to the project; maintain insurance certificates, AR/AP, vendor monitoring, and file management.
• Assist with asset management to maximize income, control expenses, and sustain occupancy; support marketing efforts for leasing and renewals.
• Regular inspections to ensure property is maintained to optimum level; supervise onsite staff and contractors as needed.
• Occasional overtime and Bay Area travel up to 5%.
