Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Senior Project Services Manager to lead project controls and services for a Life Sciences portfolio in Houston, TX and Richmond, VA. You will direct cost management, scheduling, forecasting, and integrated project services, guiding a multidisciplinary team to deliver complex large-cap projects.

You will interface with clients and suppliers, develop innovative work processes, and ensure compliance with policy while attracting and retaining top talent.

Responsibilities

• Providing day to day supervision, guidance, and direction to team members.
• Manage a portfolio of projects focusing on commercial, project controls and project services oversight.
• Interfacing with clients, subcontractors, project, construction, and operations management personnel as required.
• Solve problems, providing solutions, and help develop innovating work processes.
• Implements procedures for Quantity Surveying, Project Services & Contract Management in administration of compliance within company policy.
• Attracting, develop, and retaining a diverse and talented workforce.
• Drafts correspondence and keeps records essential for documenting the efficient management of project services & project commercial issues.
• Support team leaders and individual team members and help them achieve their goals and objectives, while simultaneously meeting or exceeding Corporate and Client goals and objectives
• Serve as an escalation point for project teams as required
• Serve in an advisory role to senior management
• Effectively present detailed information to client management as well as to all levels of Jacobs management
