Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Life Safety Service Representative, Electronic to join our field sales team in the United States. You will promote and sell Electronic Fire Service offerings to assigned accounts, managing the entire sales process from opportunity through service delivery.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client needs, maintain an active proposal backlog, and drive revenue growth within the territory.

Qualifications

• Highly self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Minimum two years of successful sales or technical experience in fire alarms, security, monitoring, or similar industry.
• Ability to obtain licenses required by codes.
• Experience reading blueprints and wiring diagrams is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full sales process from uncovering opportunities to closing and ongoing service delivery.
• Collaborate with sales, technical, design engineering, service, support, and management to meet customer needs.
• Assume account management responsibility, coordinating installation, training, and services to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities and develop a strategy to demonstrate value of Johnson Controls products.
• Prepare proposals, make presentations, and perform follow-up to close sales.
• Close sales to meet or exceed the sales plan and maintain records of activities.
• Conduct market investigations to develop new applications and provide sales forecasting for the territory.
