Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Life Safety Systems Sales Representative to promote Fire Safety Systems within an assigned territory. You will represent the company professionally with customers and end users in Boise, Idaho, and drive revenue through strategic relationship building.

You will establish contacts, qualify opportunities, present proposals, conduct demonstrations, and collaborate with operations to ensure successful delivery and ongoing account growth, all while meeting sales quotas

Qualifications

• Strong communication and sales techniques required.
• Ability to persuade and close sales.
• Self-motivated with solid organizational skills.
• Licensing per national, state and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Promote Fire Safety Systems to customers and end users in the territory.
• Establish contact with prospects, qualify buyers, schedule calls and follow up on leads.
• Develop sales strategy, qualify opportunities, and maintain records.
• Conduct seminars and demonstrations to generate leads and close sales.
• Prepare proposals, present, and follow up to close deals.
• Coordinate with district operations to improve service delivery.
• Meet sales quotas and maintain key accounts with regular contact.
• Report progress to operations and corporate teams weekly and monthly.
• Participate in trade shows and events to increase sales and brand image.
