Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Life Safety Systems Sales Representative, Electronic to promote and sell Fire Safety and Fire Alarm Systems to contractor customers and end users within an assigned territory.

As part of the team, you will establish contacts, qualify leads, develop strategies, and deliver proposals to close sales while coordinating with district operations to ensure excellent service delivery and quota attainment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years successful sales experience in Electronic Systems or similar experience.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or engineering preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams desirable.

Responsibilities

• Sell Fire Safety/Fire Alarm Systems to Contractor customers and end users within an assigned territory and accounts.
• Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers by scheduling sales calls and following up on leads.
• Develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of product offerings and maintain territory records.
• Prepare proposals, make presentations, and perform follow-up to close the sale.
• Interface with district operations to deliver and improve service delivery.
• Maintain established accounts through regular customer contact and report progress weekly.
