Job summary

Kemper Corporation is seeking a Life Insurance Sales Agent for a full-time field role based in Flint, Michigan. You will visit homes, present products, and close sales while building an ongoing customer book and collecting premiums on a flexible schedule.

Compensation is commission-based with potential for growth through performance and current incentives. New agents start with paid training to study for licensing exams; once licensed, you’ll manage an existing book of business and pursue

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with auto insurance coverage.
• Dependable vehicle for daily travel.
• Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conducting sales presentations, recommending products, and closing new sales.
• Prospecting for new sales opportunities.
• Maintaining strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule you determine.
• Responding promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans.
• Record keeping, accounting for money collected, and processing policy paperwork.
