Job summary

Kemper in Mineola, TX is hiring a Life Insurance Sales Agent to build and manage a local book of business. You will meet with clients in the field, present policies, collect premiums, and close sales with a pay-for-performance compensation model.

Starting with training, you’ll become licensed and then earn commissions on premiums and new policy sales, with opportunity to grow income based on performance. A strong customer service mindset helps you succeed.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license and dependable vehicle for daily travel.
• Ability to pass background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Conducting sales presentations, recommending products, and closing new sales.
• Prospecting for new sales opportunities.
• Maintaining strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule.
• Responding promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans.
• Record keeping, accounting for money collected, and processing policy paperwork.
