Job summary

Kemper Corporation in Troy, Alabama seeks a Life Insurance Sales Manager to recruit, develop, and lead a team of agents while driving territory growth. You will spend most of your time in the field, coaching, training, and presenting in-home sales discussions.

You will build local relationships, monitor performance, ensure compliance, and use company tools and processes to achieve aggressive sales goals and strong customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in insurance sales or sales leadership
• Active Life, Health, Property and Casualty licenses
• Proven recruiting and coaching ability
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Willingness to spend ~80% in the field
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and retain a high-performing team of insurance agents
• Lead in-person sales, including door-to-door and in-home presentations
• Coach agents through field ride-alongs and training
• Build local presence to recruit talent and generate new business
• Drive territory growth and expand customer relationships
• Monitor activity and provide performance feedback
• Conduct field and phone-based reviews to reinforce compliance and sales practices
• Demonstrate use of company tools and processes
• Support customer needs in gaps with field sales and service
• Partner with District Manager to share insights and improve territory
