Kemper Corporation is seeking a Life Insurance Sales Manager (Field Leadership) in Independence, MO. You will recruit, develop, and lead a team of agents while driving territory growth through hands-on field leadership and in-home presentations.

You will spend the majority of your time in the field, coaching agents, networking locally, and ensuring compliance and high customer engagement. A valid license and strong leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance sales, sales leadership, field training, or a related role.
Active Life, Health, Property, and Casualty insurance licenses in required states.
Strong leadership, communication, and performance management skills.
Comfortable spending ~80% of time in the field with agents and customers.
Valid driver’s license, dependable personal vehicle, and minimum 100k/300k auto liability coverage.
Ability to pass background check, motor vehicle report check, and drug screening.

Responsabilités

Recruit, hire, train, and retain a high-performing team of insurance agents.
Lead by example through active in-person sales and field ride-alongs.
Coach agents with real-time training and development.
Build local presence via community networking to recruit talent and generate new business.
